Teens have the option of staying in your room for a reduced registration rate or to stay in a room with other kids of the same age and gender. These rooms will be supervised by adult leaders who are in ministry as well.

PK Youth retreat will begin at 6:30pm, whether your student is housed or non-housed.

(If you choose to arrive earlier than 6:30pm, you are responsible for your student until the welcome service).

What all is covered in the registration fee?

Housed Students registration includes: sessions, activities, meals, and two nights of housing.

Non-housed Students registration includes: sessions and activities only.

Parents of Non-Housed students will be given the opportunity to select their preference on the PK Youth medical waiver. Housed students will be with their room leader for sessions and activities.

Yes. Cell phones are permitted.

Parents will be provided with a cell phone number at registration to call if they are unable to get ahold of their teen. Room leaders will also provide their cell phones to teens and parents during the check in process if desired.

If your child is registered as a Housed student and has allergies or food sensitivities, please email us at oym@ohioministry.net so that special arrangements can be made.

Staff will not administer medication. Parents are responsible to ensure that students get the necessary medication. Teens may administer their own medication at the parent’s discretion.

Ill students will not be permitted to attend. This includes teens with a fever over 100⁰. Students must be fever-free for 24 hours prior to attending.

Although there is no specific dress code, we ask that parents use good judgment in deciding what a teen should wear at an event of this nature.

Childcare is available during all of the main sessions (Monday night, Tuesday morning, Tuesday night, and Wednesday morning). It is not provided during additional sessions, luncheons, or breakouts.

Meals are not provided for children so please be sure that your child eats prior to being checked in. Children will receive a light snack during the sessions.

If infants require feeding while in care, please be sure to leave instructions for the staff at check in.

Yes. Children must be checked in before each session at the designated check-in area. Each child will be issued a label along with a matching parental identification tag to be used for pick up.

Staff will be ready to receive children 30 minutes before each main session.

Upon registration, you will be asked for a cell phone number to be used to contact. If it changes prior to the event, you will need to contact events@ohioministry.net to change your information."

We don't ask for their number when they check in, but when they register.

Children ages 2+ rotate to different activities throughout the sessions. If you need to find your child during the services, please go to their classroom and there will be a sign on the door telling you where your child can be found.
