Who is Jesus?

More than two thousand years ago God sent Jesus Christ into this world. He became one of us, but he did nothing wrong. He showed us what God is like – merciful and kind. He healed the sick people, the blind were made to see, the deaf to hear, the lame to walk. Some people followed him, and to them he gave a new way of life – God’s way. But others hated Him because He was so good, and he exposed their evil ways.

He gave his own life as a sacrifice, a payment for our sins. He died on the cross to save us. Three days after he died, Jesus Christ came back from the dead. Now He lives in the power of an endless life to meet your need, to be your Saviour, to forgive your sins. Jesus Christ is the only one who can do this for you.

The Ohio Ministry Network exists to encourage and support Ohio families, churches and ministry leaders. We strive to equip and resource churches and pastors to tell the world about Jesus.

Men’s Ministry Slow-Pitch Softball Tournament

When, Where, and How Much?

Date: Saturday, June 10th, 2017

Rain Date: Saturday, June 17th, 2017

Cost: $200 Per Team 

Time: 1st Game Will Start @ 9am – LATE Afternoon

*Practice will begin at 8am

Location: Highlands Community Park (6380 State Road 229, Sparta, OH 43350)

*Available only to the first 12 teams that register. Depending on how many teams participate, it will either be Double Elimination or Round Robin. 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place team awards will be given. 

Tournament Rules

We will be using ASA rules with a few modifications:

  • The count will be 1-1 when you step up to the plate, 2nd foul ball, you’re out.
  • No arguing with the umpires, EVER.
  • Pinch runners will be allowed, after the hitter makes it to first base on his own.

*Each Team Member will need to sign the below “Release and Waiver of Liability Agreement” before they are able to compete in tournament. We will also have the release at the tournament for your convenience.
